We recently went on a romantic escape and had a great time! The view from our room was absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama. The location of the hotel was also perfect, situated in a peaceful area that provided us with much-needed privacy. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
There were a few drawbacks. The furniture in our room was in poor condition, with worn-out mattresses and linens that felt used.

I stayed at 78 Montague for one night and it was an absolute delight. The property's old charm and quirky floors added to its unique character. The kitchen and bathroom were both well-stocked with thoughtful items. Despite the piano needing tuning, I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. The highlight was the wonderful deck with breathtaking views of the bay and harbour. I only wish I had more time to stay and explore. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel accepts pets.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

The breathtaking view of the bay from various spots around the property was truly unforgettable. The host was friendly and provided helpful suggestions and recommendations during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the homemade breakfast, which featured mostly local ingredients, and it was the perfect way to start our days of exploring or simply relaxing. The location was convenient, with a walking trail behind the property leading to a beautiful beach area, where we discovered an assortment of shells and rocks.
Our experience was marred by the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke in the accommodation. It became a constant presence, even during sleep, making it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

We had a lovely stay at this B&B with stunning views of the bay. the cottage was spacious and well-equipped with a comfortable bed and great linens. the owner, Heather, was friendly and helpful, serving us a delicious breakfast each morning. the location was convenient, with a walking trail to the beach. We also appreciated the privacy of the cottage and the accessible features such as the roll-in shower and ramp to the main building.
Some furniture in the cottage was in poor condition and the mattresses were old and soft.

The room had a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, there was a mix-up with the payment process that caused a lot of inconvenience.

Just had a wonderful stay at a charming property in Digby. the villa had a quirky charm to it, with its old floors sloping and a badly tuned piano, but it added to the character. the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with thoughtful items, and the deck offered perfect views of the bay and harbor. I wish I had more than one night to enjoy it all. Another bonus was that they accepted pets. Such a lovely experience at 78 Montague Villa. Cons: Can't fault a thing about it! 😊.

The location of this B&B is perfect, offering beautiful views of the bay and surrounding area. the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and great linens. the host is friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful suggestions and a delicious breakfast each morning. Plus, the property has a walking trail that leads to a stunning beach during low tide, perfect for shell and rock hunting.
The lack of screens in the windows and the strong smell of stale cigarette smoke in some units can be off-putting.

My recent stay at 78 Montague was absolutely delightful. The view from my room was breathtaking, offering a picturesque scene that I could admire for hours. The location was also perfect, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area. The host was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the personalized attention and eagerness to ensure my satisfaction.
Even though there were a few drawbacks, such as the furniture being in bad condition and the mattresses being old and soft, these minor inconveniences were easily overshadowed by the overall positive experience. The bathroom door being in front of two big windows with no blinds was a little inconvenient, but I managed to find a way around it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming retreat in Digby. The property had a rustic charm with quirky antiques from around the world. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with thoughtful items, and the views from the deck were breathtaking. The homemade breakfast, made with local ingredients, was the perfect way to start the day. Plus, I appreciated that pets were accepted, making it a great option for a family getaway. I found the experience to be a welcome retreat and would highly recommend it.
Drawbacks: Although the beds were comfortable, they did make noise when moving around on them. Additionally, the large couch facing the window was not very comfortable or useful.
